The MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G Graphics Card consumes up to 120 watts while in use. In order to power this gpu, you'll need to connect it into an available PCIe x16 port on your motherboard. Due to the fact the PCIe x16 interface provides 75 watts, the other 45 watts will be provided by a PCIe 8-pin power cable from your psu.
 
As this graphics card comes with higher power requirements, we recommend your power supply unit provides no less than 400 watts, as 400 watts should be ample overhead for your other components in your system.

This is a dual slot gpu, meaning it will take up two PCIe x16 lanes on your motherboard. One slot for the PCB of the graphics card, and the other to accommodate for the cooling system on this graphics card.
 
With exact dimensions of 277 x 140 x 39 mm (10.90 in x 5.51 in x 1.53543), ensure your computer case has ample room to not only accommodate this gpu, but also an extra 25 mm (1 inch) for the PCIe Power Cable which attaches at the top of the graphics card.
