How to Screenshot Hardware Identifying Software

How to Screenshot Hardware Identifying Software

Hardware identifying software is any software that identifies the hardware connected to the computer. It's helpful to identify parts when you don't know the exact model or part number.

There is a variety of hardware identifying software out there, from "GPU-Z", "AIDA64", "Open Hardware Monitor", and more. However, for simplicity sake, we recommend using Window's built in hardware identifying software, called "System Information". For those of you with a GPU, read below to discover how to find your graphics card make and model within the "System Information" software.

2. Type "sysinfo" in the search box and select "System Information"
